Learn the basics of using Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan $50
This workshop introduces you to Annie Sloan and her amazing paint. During this hands-on class, you will be learning to paint a variety of different techniques including a smooth modern finish, a rustic look, washes, and two-color distressing. You will practice using clear and dark wax as well as stencils. You'll leave with all the knowledge you need to paint your own home decor. Location - My re.invent.ed studio in Luthersburg Materials - All materials are provided including a decorative project that you will complete to take home. Please wear paint-friendly clothing. Bring Your Own Piece class
Complete a piece in one day...
During this workshop, I will guide you in completing a piece from start to finish using Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan. You will choose one style/technique to paint your piece in your choice of colors. You will learn to use clear and dark wax as well as stencils if desired.
Materials - All paint and wax is provided as well as use of my stencils. You should bring a piece of furniture that you can carry yourself (ex. end table, small headboard, nightstand, chair, etc). Please clean your piece to remove any dirt or grease. I suggest blue Dawn dish soap, Krud Kutter, or TSP. Do not use Murphy's or Orange Glow. Please wear paint-friendly clothing.
Length - approximately 3-4 hours, snacks/drinks provided
Class size - class is limited to 6 students
***We do a mini version off this class too! ...picture frames, step stool, lamp, bottles, etc

I host various craft workshops each month. These classes are approximately 2-3 hours long and change seasonally. I present the project and provide guidance as students play with paint and create their own unique version of the class project.
All materials are provided. The cost is $20 - $65 depending on the project. Prepay to reserve your spot. Please contact me to ensure there is space available. These classes are held at our Luthersburg studio.
**Please note there isn't time during these classes to demonstrate and practice painting techniques; these are intended to be a fun night of craftiness. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage :)
